Waste Gas Incineration

Direct Thermal Oxidizers

The A.H. Lundberg dedicated thermal oxidizer system has been specifically developed over the years for the harsh environments of the pulp and paper industry. It is appropriate for waste gas treatment in other industries.

The system is designed to handle gases of varying concentration and composition and to meet or exceed all environmental requirements. These units are also designed for continuous or intermittent (rapid start-up) operation, as appropriate.

Several enhancements may be added to the system for energy or environmental reasons. Among these is a fire tube waste heat boiler to generate low pressure steam.

Custom Flares

A.H. Lundberg provides dedicated enclosed flares and incinerators where a direct thermal oxidizer is not required or as a back-up to the primary destruction mode of operation. All flare and incinerator packages are available as complete engineered systems, including all gas pre-treatment, free water/condensibles knock-out, and burner management.

Designs may incorporate use of auxiliary fuels or waste fuel gas streams, as required. Efficiencies of up to 99.99% of VOC destruction can be provided.

Specialized Burner Nozzles

When destruction of waste gases is possible by injection into an existing incinerator, kiln, or boiler, we offer custom designed burner nozzles to safely inject the waste gas and assure complete destruction. The burner nozzles may be designed for multiple feeds, separate support gas, combustion air or a combination.
