Vent Gas Heat Recovery

As process industries become increasingly more energy conscious, A.H. Lundberg Systems offers systems to realize energy recovery from even low heat gas discharges. Our vent gas heat recovery systems are a natural progression of our blow heat recovery and autoclave flash vapour heat recovery systems.

The system combines the use of direct contact hot gas quenching with condensers, and indirect shell & tube heat exchanges to extract heat from dry gas discharges on a continual basis.

The heat recovery systems may include acid gas scrubbing, particulate control, and flue gas desulphurization. Additionally, waste water streams are addressed to control pH, particulate entrainment, organic fouling, and BOD/COD issues to meet environmental regulatory requirements.
